Equipment required

• Calibrated radiation monitor
• Fire extinguisher trolley type, quantity 2
• Bulldozer with claw
• Flat-bed trailer
• 40’ open top containers, as required, minimum three
• 20’ closed door container for tool store
• Heavy duty air compressor
• 5 KVA or equivalent generator
• Hand tools, crow bars, cutters, hammers, hand saws, grinders/cutters
• Small van, 1 tonne and Pick-up truck, 7.5 tonne
• PPE for staff: gloves, fireproof coveralls, face masks, heavy boots with toe protection
• Jib crane if required to remove landing gear

Manpower required

• Site supervisor manager
• Labourers - quantity four
• Radiation protection officer - required only when nuclear material is present

Undertaking

• Any radioactive material will be removed in accordance with terms and conditions of FANR Licence No. FANR/NM/2015/066.
• No parts components, consumables will be used / reused in the aviation industry, all being destroyed to prevent further use at time of dismantling.
• Air, hydraulic and electrical power will be used for the cutting and dismantling process.
• Flame cutting torches will not be used.
• Full compliance & safety with all regulatory laws, including airport, GCAA, CAA, FANR
• Environment regulations will be complied with using an open site invite policy, subject to access and safety approval.
• Dust & other debris will be minimized if necessary, utilizing the services of airport emergency response facilities for water damping.
